Air Pump 6pi activation >> excess air

so im building a fully mechanical system for the 6pi and vdi systems activation. air pump runs straight to a dump valve. enough air flows through the valve to open ports at correct time, and the excess air as o right now is simply venting into nowhere.

I was wondering if there would be anything wrong with feeding the excess air into the intake somewhere? TB? into my CAI? sort of like a stock supercharger that doesnt actually work.. im basically just looking for a way to avoid a WOOOSH sound coming from the valve so I want to route the air somewhere.

thanks

That won't work. Forced induction works by blowing into a closed system. The intake system is not closed, it has an air filter at one end.

yeah the super charger thing was sort of a joke. I jsut need a place to route that excess air and was wondering if it was ok to just hook it into the intake. or exhuast. or somewhere

You car actually came with a muffler for exactly this purpose. Did you throw it out or is it gathering dust under the workbench?

The muffler located in the right front fender. Plastic cylinder outfit. Black in color.

I removed it upon installation of my CAI, it was block room for the filter.
