air mix motor question

I have searched on this and I know that you can manually move thr flap by reaching up near the gas pedal and moving a rod, but I'm not exactly sure which rod to move.
I tried reading all the different descriptions but I guess I just can't get it visually. Can someone possibly take a picture or try to describe where I need to be reaching to move this lever?
Thanks in advance!

my heat does not work and I searched and there is a way to manually move the flap for when the air mix motor does not work. When you move the slider hot to cold it is supposed to open a flap which the air mix motor controls, and you can move it manually by reaching up under the dash by the gas pedal, I just don't know what to move. I know someone here knows what I'm talking about its just if they can describe it to me or not.
