Hey everyone.

My a/c is shot. The air mix motor is in pieces. I took the FC to my car shop and my mechanic friend told me that I need a new air mix motor ( he called it something with the word "door") and the linkage that goes with it. I am not sure what the linkage is, but I know I need to buy these parts - and fast. It hit like 88 in boston today, and the FC blasts ONLY hot air - even when it's turned off!

there is no way you need the linkage unless the assembly was taken out and bent on purpose. It can not be damaged on its own.

i personally think your mechanic is clueless. Has he even used a multi-meter to test the air mix motor before he says it needs replacing???
