air leak or electrical.. :(

Okay, so I removed the air pump & acv. I made a block off plate and put it on I used JB Weld and silicone sealer for the block off plate. When I was reconnecting the battery, I accidentally laid my wrench across the poles. It arced and I replaced the battery. I sat in the car and tried to start it up. It acted like it has NO power on a NEW battery. Annoyed, I jumped the car and it started right up, it revved to 3500rpm then died. I restarted the car holding a little gas and I could keep the motor running as long as the engine didn't drop below 1krpm.

Now, when I was removing the air tube, a screw jammed on the little tube going to through a one way valve when I am pretty sure controls the secondary butterfly valves (the ones people often remove with the TB mod).. so they're basically stuck open as I just capped the tubes off at the advice of another forum member.

I need this car for tomorrow and I am pretty competent, I just need to know where to start. I have checked the tubes around where I was working and none seem damaged, I retightened every bolt I loosened on the intake, nothing. I'm at a loss.

Thanks
