Unhappy Air, Fuel, and Spark... still won't start

ok... here we go... i just bought my rx7 in mid november... drove it for about 2 weeks and put it up for the winter... i live in NY and november was being nice and wasnt to cold out... but when i went to start it one morning to move it out of the way(late December 20 deg. F) it wouldnt start... i tought it was gas... nope not gas... wasnt spark or air... then i thought it was flooded... it was...(oil full of gas=low compression so i changed the oil) held the throttle open key off to air it out... same with the spark plugs, took them out let it air out... i let the car get warm in a heated garage... and still nothing... what is up with it... it has a complete tune up 87k miles on it... non-turbo... will not start worth crap. it wants to start, some times itll start right up and go to like 2k (sounding like crap) and shut right down... any ideas?

check for codes, your AFM may be having troubles.

remove the O2 sensor and try to start the car, if it starts and runs where with the O2 sensor in it will die then i would suspect the Catalytic converter is plugged up. the car will be loud without the O2 sensor in there just a heads up.

check your fuel volume, you may have a restriction in your fuel system like a clogged fuel filter or a pump on its way out or possibly a resitrction in the line or plugged up sock filter in the tank.

this should get you started on things to check for now, may even cure what your problem is.

extremely easy...

but if it gets up to 2k RPM then it should be clearing itself out, sounds like you have another problem like lack of fuel(could be sensor or pump circuit related) or restricted exhaust.

just make sure you aren't using any coolant, the engine produces a bit of condensation out of the exhaust the gray coloration may just be the unburnt fuel from it being flooded.

well if you plan on keeping the motor then i would change the oil asap, running the engine with diluted oil will ruin the bearings.
