air fuel ratio gauge

can i use the factory O2 sensor when installing the air fuel ratio gauge or do i have to buy the sending unit from autometer? thanks

save your money, really. a narrowband is useless for any real tuning purpose, all the gauge will really tell you is when the computer has entered closed loop. put the money towards a wideband O2 and ditch the narrowband gauge.

You can use the stock sensor. Make your connection right at the sensor or right at the ECU, because the wire is shielded in between.

im using the air fuel ratio gauge to tune my super afc. people say to get that or tune it on a dyno and that costs way to much for me

if your not careful the rebuild will cost more....
a narrowband just dont give accurate information

You can't use it for tuning, it's not accurate under load. If you can't afford an hour on a dyno, you shouldn't be doing stuff to your car that requires tuning.
