Air Flow Selection Not Working. Help.

I have a 87 SE. My air flow selection or Mode control stopped working. I can no longer select where I want the air to come from. IE, defronst, feet, head, both...... Air comes out of everywherre except defrost. I can still elect recirculate and air mixture. I was thinking mode control motor, but I talked with a guy at Mazdatrix and he said that he's never seen one go bad.

I'll take any and all suggestions.

Help!?

Breezy

Most heating/air problems like that are related to the logicon. Either that or the vent select door is jammed up or something.

Resolder logicon. If that doesn't fix the problem, test the servos that move the flapper doors in the heater around. One of them may have fried or stuck.
