air flow meter problem:? 90 turbo II

ok so i was changing to coolant temp sensor and decided to adjust the idle, the car has been running a little rough but still very good. i warmed up the car hooked dianostic plug to ground and started adjusting the idle screw on bac didnt really seem to do anything, i unplugged the dianostic connector from ground turned off the engine and about twenty mins later started it up and it would barely idle around 600 rpm, it was idleing at 900 rpm before cant seem to get it back. tps is fine, bac is fine, signal from ecu to bac is fine, im lost please help

If your idle issues appeared after you adjusted the idle screw (which you should have never touched) then you need to re-set it.

What exactly have you messed with?

well up untill that point when i messed with idle screw it was running just fine all i have done since is start checking everything that has to do with the idle system and so far nothing seems a miss. once again idle screw seems todo nothing dont know if the computer is not exepting the change now or what. this is a pretty well moded engine no cold start system aftermarket intake stage 2 street port nikki throttle body air pump gone (all emissions are pretty much gone) but car was working fine untill i adjusted the screw turned off the car started it 10 mins later and then crappy idle

yeah they call that a $1000 screw for a reason. Because that is how much it will cost to get it to idle right again.

Are you sure you didn't mess with the mixture screw?

Either way, you will need to download the factory manual from one of the sites listed in the FAQ for FC sticky thread (found at the top of this section as well as at the top of the New Member Technical section) and reset the idle based on the instructions in there.
