I have just installed a new "filter intake system"... and im wondring if it's better to buy an air filter shield for the cone or it's better to make a cold air box around it ? but then how the air is supposed to get into the filter if im going to have a box around it?! like this one..

put in mind i took out the plastic parts that leads to the original airbox (the one with stickers on it from the pic above!)



enlighten me if im missing something?!

 

Build an air box or a fenderwell, don't bother with the air filter sheild.
