Question Air filter install Question

Just bought a cheapo cone filter off of ebay that comes with an adapter. Besides taking out the stock filter box are there any other modifications need to be made. I presume more air will be flowing through now is there anything that I need to adjust?

Nope, should be about it. You might have to rotate the AMS but that's pretty simple. ^_-

Peace,
AJ ^_^

You may want to get a smaller filter that can attach to the air pump inlet hose. But some people just leave that open.

The small filter you've seen is exactly that. As mentioned above it goes on your air pump inlet hose. You'll have a better look at it after you yank out the airbox.

Next thing you might want to do is make a heat shield to try and keep the hot under hood air away from your air filter. Search the forum for "heat shield" and you should find a couple examples that can be made in your bedroom for under $20.

You don't need to spend $20 on a mini cone filter - check at the parts store for breather filters - I found one the same diameter as the air pump hose for $3.95 - works fine - and if you think you don't need it check the filter material after a couple of weeks - gone from virgin white to black!
