I see some stainless steel filters for sale on e-bay for about $18 with a 3" neck. Does anyone know if these will fit directly onto the AFM of an 87 n/a, or is some kind of attapter needed?

That little bracket in the picture next to the filter(the SS one), is what will connect to the MAF, and you wouldn't need anything else really....nice looking peice though. I just painted mine to match the other stuff I've painted in my engine bay.
