Air Conditioning Problem

hi,

I'am a day old to the RX7club. I searched the archives, I found nothin g could help me.I have a problem with the A/C. If I turn is on, Only normal air coming out. Plus, I check the compressor the clutch didn't engage. If you met this problem before pls hlp me or Do you have a wiring diagram for 89 NA. ... thanks

PS: Do the RX7 has a PDF format for workshop/Tech manual.

YOu need to go to the drier. Pull the two wires off the driers PRESSURE switch. Jumper them together and turn on the a/c. The compressor should then engage. IF it does, most likely you low on refrigerent. There's not enough freon to make the pressure switch *make*.

The online fsm for your car is found in the FAQ thread at the beginning of this site. Well, the URL is there. Go to the HEATING AND A/C section. There is no wiring diagram for your series on THIS site. And your just low on refrigerent anyway.

www.teamfc3s.org there is a pdf factory service manual there. i think the reason the compressor doesnt engage is because of little/no freon, rather than bad electricity. thats been the case for me on my ranger. hope that helps. if i were you, i'd try to charge it using r134 or r12, what ever system you have, and see if the compressor kicks in, which it should

I assume you aready checked to see if the fuses were not blown?
