Air Bleeder Screw

Should I just order one, or should I just order one or two more for later on in my Rotary life, just so I have it on hand.
Which reminds me I need to get a small parts case to keep this stuff organized.

Mines stripped to all hell, and I'm gonna have to ghetto rig it to get it out. Any suggestions on how to remove a heavily stripped airbleed screw?
I was told to heat up a sharp screwdriver and hopefully that would make its own grooves, enough to get it out at least.

And is there anyplace cheaper to get this other than Mazdatrix? $4.15+S&H

Do a search for easyout ez out screw extractor or remover. I know sears has one. Not sure if links work.

I am assuming it is the screw on the side of the series 4 rad. for purging air from the cooling system.

Node:
If the head is all stripped on a plastic screw like that, I would either drill it out, or heat a screw driver tip up red hot and let it melt in deep enough to have some grab and when it cools unscrew.

Like knight said; its a $5 part... I say get two (one for the purge, and one for the bottom of the rad) and replace them both.

What I did was take a dremmel and just cut a slot for a screwdriver to fit in and it came out. Might work for you depending on how stripped it is.
