Hi , i am haveing trouble with the driver side electrinical seat belt. the probalem is that it keep staying in the open postion regardless if the door is closed or not or if the ingintion is on/off. any ideas?... could it be the motor that moves it is burnt?... any help would be appriated..

There was a recall years ago, but the seatbelts had a lifetime warrenty with the recall.
Go to the Mazda Dealer and ask....

 

should've searched a bit, there was a thread like today or yesterday about this. Go to your local Mazda dealership and they'll fix it for free, it's a lifetime warranty, if they give you any problems, contact Mazda North America.

 

Yeah i'm going through this right now, if it hasn't been done to your car previously it will be a cake walk, but if like me it has already been replaced then they will give you hell. Should be no problem though.
