Angry Ahh! BOV help.

Well I bought a BOV to replace the by pass valve in the car now, only problem is how in the hell do I swap them out. I looked at the hoses and setup of the hoses on the original by pass valve and I'm lost on how this will fit. A couple people from the rx7club popped this thing in within a few minutes and it fit perfect. The only problem is I can't figure out what hose goes where, and what hoses have to be plugged. Someone told me I have to plug the turbo intact duct even though I don't know where it is.

If I'm correct this is how my current by pass valve looks like

I'm lost on where all the hoses go if I'm trying to put in this type of BOV

I have a corkscrew to plug the hole for now until I get to the autoparts store, but I was wondering if someone can tell me where to put what hose. All I know is the small hose should go ontop of the bov, but after that I'm lost. HELP!!

did you buy a BOV kit (meaning it has a mounting pipe) or just the BOV. if you just have the bov, which is what I see in the pic, you have 2 choices, either buy the mounting piece if its available or have someone weld it on.

Judging by your descriptions of the stock hoses, you have no idea what a BOV does or how it works. You're changing it simply for the "look-at-me" noise right?

Connect the new BOV to the pipe between the turbo and the intercooler. Connect to it the vacuum line that went to the old BOV. Plug the hole in the turbo inlet duct (the name is a clue to its location).

Didn't it come with instructions?

I'm in the process of learning about these cars, I'm trying my best, but I haven't been in the rx7 scene as long as you all. I was actually going to go with a 951, but got this car instead.

Anyway, a couple of guys said the BOV should fit without having to weld anything. I was told it would take around 15 minutes max to get this thing plugged in and ready. All I know is the vacuum line should run to the top of BOV, but can someone help me out?

Ok, so the small vacuum hose, goes in the location of (blue lettering, blue hose) as shown in the picture, right? Next, I put the BOV on the spot where the (black lettering, black hose) is located in other words, I take the hose with the L shape out, and stick the BOV on the piece located between the intercooler, and turbo. Than I plug the hole for the hose (red lettering, and red hose) that should lead to the intake?

Right, or wrong?

Right. The vacuum nipple on top of the BOV should be connected to the nipple on the UIM just above where's it's bolted to the LIM (where the old BOV should've been connected).
