Age of 2nd Gen owner

Hey,

I just turned 15 years old and i have a 1988 Se Project Car.. I am doing up a full restoration of it.. I also have so many extra parts i could build another... so to the point. I have been working on it and i have put a engine it it and done much work... so what im asking is the age of the Fc owner(wondering if any other young rotor heads)

Currently 24....I believe that you'll find most FC owners are 30 and younger, with the majority being 25 and younger...Of course, now that I have said that someone will prove me wrong...Maybe that group is just more vocal?

Probably because "most" FC's are for sale anywhere from $500-3500 average so it caters to a younger crowd with less money.

Almost all the old people I've talked to have issues with the rotaries.

"Oh, it has oil seal problems"
"They're totally unreliable"
"They get bad gas milage"
"No one knows how to work on them"
"Parts cost a fortune"

27 3/4 here

I agree with the idea that these cars are in the cheaper price range making them very appealing to younger drivers. That's why I bought mine. They are also so much easier to work on with all the advice from the forum here. Cheap fixes like the ATF trick kept my car running, when someone else would have junked it or bought a new engine.

Uhh FC´s arent cheap overhere, I paid 5600$ for a rusty specimen that had to go thrugh inspection before beeing able to drive it.
My car today represents a value to me of more than 10K$, but then again we have a 180% registrationtax on cars and a perfect welfare system, paid by the autoowners

I'm 16, and I think I've dumped about 6 grand into the car by now. About 5k for performance, 1k for maintenance.
