Unhappy aftermarket Transmission and diff.

hi,
My tranny is fucked therefor I want a new one are there any 6 speed trannys? or should I just get a new TII. also my diff mount is non existent therefore a disguisting thump happens when I use the gas or not use the gas. are there any good lsds' I could get . thanks alot.

no tranny will work unless you pay big money. just try and find a used one.

for the diff just get new front dif mounts. call up www.mazdamotorsports.com I think around $40 but can't remember if that was each or for the pair.

If you want an aftermarket LSD you'll need to take yours apart. RP sells the KAAZ units: http://www.rx7.com/cgi-local/2catalog.cgi?cat=2&part=7 . They also sell gears: http://www.rx7.com/cgi-local/2catalog.cgi?cat=2&part=6.

soul assassin has the HKS transmission, but it's about $7000. You can get a good TII transmission for $2-300. I got one from my friend for free.

If you don't want another rubber differential mount then you can make a mount out of angle iron, but you'll feel some vibrations in your car, and it may get noisy at times. The plus is that it will be very strong and won't break.
