GA Aftermarket throttlebody

What's needs to be done to run a aftermarket tb? Can you just weld a flange where the stock tb flange use to be or is there something a lil more complex that needs to be done?!

Physically mounting a different TB would be the first step, adapting the TPS would be the second.

For most applications there is basically no point in an aftermarket throttlebody, and a single blade design hurts part throttle response. If you have a stock or bolt on turbo forget it. You're wasting your time.

agreed. that's one of the LAST places for horsepower to hide on these engines.

I have a FD upper with the Rotary-Works 90 mm TB on it.
the Difference between the Stock FD TB and the R-W TB is Night and Day.
I had a hesitation on the FD TB and when I switched over, the Acceleration is smooth as Glass.
I'm not saying there is more power,I am saying that the Engine 'likes it better"!..and so do I!

no its not a direct bolt on, and you have to wire the TPS in. It's not complicated at all though.

Little bit of work, and its a great cheap upgrade though.
