Aftermarket Sensors in Stock Locations

I am using an aftermarket ECU with a digital display. Obviously, that means I do not care about maintaining the original functionality of the old sensors. Can I use aftermarket oil pressure and coolant temp sensors in the stock locations? Are all oil pressure and coolant temp sensors made with the same thread pitch? If not, what are my options? I think using the stock locations if possible would probably be the cleanest and easiest but I am open to anything.

Thank you!

there are a couple of ways to go about it, not all sensors are the same thread.
also most ecus let you scale the sensors, so you can run almost anything.

Coolant Temp, this is the easy one, the Mazda sensor is pretty generic, so you can just use that. 8574-18-840 is the Mazda number. there is also a GM sensor with the same thread. its a straight thread
Air Temp: the stock sensor is odd, and NLA. i think it uses a tapered thread too. i'm not sure what people do, but there is probably a sensor that would thread in. if not you're tapping it to a larger size
Oil Pressure: there are aftermarket sensors for this too, keep in mind that the stock oil pressure sensor only runs the gauge, so if you want to keep that you need a T fitting, or one of those bolts that replaces the oil cooler banjo bolt, or an oil filter adaptor

Since I am going with a digital display I am no longer retaining the OEM cluster and do not care about its functionality. Are there some sensors you reccomend that are known to have teh same thread pitch as the OEM? I wasnt able to find it referenced in any previous posts but its possible I missed it.

I don't think you're searching very hard if you've already looked and come up empty. There's really only one sensor you'd benefit from replacing (well 2 if you're punting the factory IAT as well) - the temp sensor for the gauge cluster isn't what you'd use for your ECU anyway so just use the factory sensor on the rear of the waterpump - it's arguably more accurate anyway - and the oil pressure sensor is 1/8 BSP.
