Aftermarket replacement for intake hose?

88 TII. I'm referring to the large intake hose that connects the air filter to the turbo on TII's. I have a crack in mine at the turbo so it keeps popping off. Is there any kind of aftermarket product for this hose or has anyone attempted to make their own replacement (any plummers out there)?

thanks,
-kevino

Common problem. Plenty of people (including me) have made them out of ABS pipe. It's a good upgrade if you use 3" diameter pipe.

That thing is just awful...

Personally I would never use PVC in an engine bay. A 45deg mandrel bend in mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium is cheap and easy to aquire, and looks and flows better than anything else.

A search will get you a bunch of threads on doing this.
