why is it that it's harder and harder to have technical answers on this board. Ok.............so should i put a big spoiler on my car, or leave the stock one.

When my stock radiator's plastic tank split, I put in a brass replacement for $131.

Well, I'd say get the biggest wing possible, of course!

Radiator: I have a large Griffin Rad with a Vintage E-fan. I have to say, its way better than stock.

My car is running on-average 20F lower than it used to. Temps are usually around 180-185 F. That's during the summer, and with a big-*** turbo upgrade, running 14 psi.

Well worth the $$$...

I guess when I finally get a turbo I'll need a bigger budget!

Wow, seems like there is a lot of radiator threads lately. I've been running a Fluidyne in my 88 'vert for about a year now. I also upgraded to an electric fan when I put it in. I'm pretty impressed with the combo. Temp stays pretty much where you set it(unless your fan bites the dust). When I first installed it I kinda rigged the wiring just to test it out. I had lost a connection in traffic and obviously my temps skyrocketed. I was able to get out of traffic and a quick cruise at moderate speed was enough to drop it back down to the normal range without the aid of the fan. It's not the cheapest upgrade but now that I did the wiring properly I feel a lot safer with it. I was afraid to leave the house with the old radiator/fan clutch combo.

I have the Fluidyne. Pretty pricey, but is a direct bolt in and in combination with my electric fan it overcools my car.

i just got the K2RD and would like to know how it does at slower speeds. The fan is a high performance 16" SPAL. I think it flows 2350 CFM. the fan and brass radiators were plenty stock, but with a front mount and summer temps i doubt it would cut it.
