Aftermarket pedals

does anyone know how to get the accelator pedal cover ( i've tried most every brand) to mount straight, instead of off to the right ?

Lots of playing and tweaking. What I actually did, I remove the pedal from the car, and performed the installation, cutting (the excess), at home
