aftermarket internal wastegate mod???

Hey turbo guys..... would this aftermarket T3 style wastegate cover work on a S4 or S5 stock turbo? http://atpturbo.com/root/releases/release103105.htm

If it wouldn't but its close, could it be mated up using a fabbed adapter flange? Seems like it could be a good addition to a hybrid turbo if it fits, you could get much more wastegate flow to help eliminated boost creep and it would allow you to utilize a v-band clamp with a larger than 2.5" downpipe on the stock hotside. Sounds to good to be true... I'm sure it is.

lets hear the bad news...

This won't fit either turbo. The S4 is not even close, the S5 is a bit closer but uses a dual wastegate.

The best bet is to port the existing wastegate. And if you need a larger downpipe, just have the pipe transition to a larger size after the flange.

That's why I'm making my own for my S5 turbo. I've got a custom backplate cut to take a "big-mouth" downpipe similar to these:
