aftermarket gauge lighting

hi, i am geting close to finishing my TII rx7 upgrade and have a aftermarket boost and a/f ratio gauge. i know were and how to hook them up so they work but i need to know what would be the best place to hook in the ilumination parts so i can see them at night. it says to conect them inbetween the dimmer and the acutal gauges. does anyone know what wires these are or if there is a better way to hook them up? thanx

In my Supra I hooked them up so that when the switch is on they where illuminated.
this will no hurt the guages, Especially if they are the Indiglo style illumination.
The headlight switch wiring on these cars are tricky

Take the Power from the Light around the Cigarette lighter(or the ashtray)..it is hooked up to power, and also to Illumination,so when you Dim your Stock gauges, this light also Dims too..I did it to run Three Gauge lights in my Stereo Pod,and it works great!
