I would install the Hi-6 on the leadings and return the retard.
The Hi-6 is a great mod for use with nitrous.
Stock timing on the stock ECU for a 75 shot is still plenty retarded from optimum; you will have no problems with it.
My stock regulator ran 45psi with no vacuum reference.
Either my 2 stock regulators(one S4 and one S5) were broken or the walbro pump increases stock pressures but I've always run around that range.

Why not? He's not the first n/a to run with an aftermarket fuel system/fpr, all depends on what your goals are for the car.
