Angry Aftermarket CD Player.

Yes I have searched. Yes I read the FAQ. Yes the fuses are good. Yes it is all hooked up "right" according to the FAQ. NO IT DOESNT WORK!!!

I'm so pissed off right now. This is not how to spend Christmas. I've spent most of today trying to get this stupid peice of s*** to work and its still not f***ing working. Before I connected it according to the FAQ it would turn on... turn off... turn on... turn off... etc.

Then I hooked it up according to the FAQ and I've got nothing! I'm sick and tired of reading throught the instructions and through the wiring diagrams. Someone please tell me what's up. Car is 1990 GTU with the tape player/radio without the equalizer.

Mason

If info in the FAQ is correct, so don't blame that. Is it completely dead? Have you checked to see you have power at the blue/red (battery) and blue/white (ACC) wires? Is it on but not making any sound? Have you bypassed the factory amps? Just telling us it doesn't go isn't enough info to help you.

if the radio output is turning on, and then off, and then on and then off, you have a blown speaker or speaker wiring short.

Or you have insufficent voltage (as in a dead battery).

Did you replace the speakers? what is the volt meter rearing when the key is in the on position?? Did you use real connections or band aid or black tape your wire connections?? (both would be wrong).
