Aftermarket Cat and nipple for air supply hose

I recently purcahsed a 3" High-flow cat. I believe it was made specifically for the FC, because of the placement and orientation of the flanges. In fact I think it was sold under for the greddy turbo kits, because it came with a downpipe that I bought to bolt to my TD07 turbo, and with this cat, it appears the cat-back bolts right up in stock position. Anyway, the cat does not have a nipple for the air supply hose. DO some cats just not need one, or should I be concerned? Ive had a few Bonez high-flow cats in the past, and I know they do have a nipple.

Well, I know for OTHER cars they don't always have the air supply nipple on the cat. As far as I know, though, the rx7 needs it. That makes me wonder if it is actually made for the rx7, but I don't know. As far as my knowledge of rx7's goes, they need the air to cool down the cat and to help with the catalyst for emissions.

You can get a bonez high flow cat in 3" now from rx7.com, they come in various sizes, just need to have the flanges welded on.
