After a year and half... the 7 finally lives.

Ya... it's been down a long time. Dad has wanted to kill me because my car has been chillin' in the parking lot of his shop for the entire time. Well, thanks to Kahren building my engine, it finally has gotten back on the road. Only 300 miles into the break-in but seems to be doing just fine. I was doing some brake work the other day and stripped out the bleeder valve on the front left caliper, but should have my new caliper here tomorrow so I can get it back on the road.

Here's a list of mostly everything done to it during it's slumber:

S5 T2 turbo and block
Complete T2 drivetrain conversion
Marren Pulsation Dampner (Pulled for my S4 NA which I purchased because the stock PD caught on fire, I figured, I have it, might as well use it.)
Stance Coilovers
DTSS removal
Polyurethane suspension bushings
Mazdatrix Short Shifter
Haltech E6X engine management
FN01RC Wheels 17x8 wrapped with Eagle F1's 235/45/17 (Ya, little high walled, but it will be ok)
Muteki lugs on the way for the wheels (stock lugnuts and socket won't fit the wheels)
Stainless Steel brake lines
Shine Auto Projects Spec-1 bumper (yet to be installed)
Full racing beat exhaust
Racingbeat Lightweight Steel Flywheel
Act Clutch and Pressure plate
Lots of little random interior and body pieces replaced just to make things look better
S5 Tail lights

I have a GTU style wing in the attic, perfect condition, just haven't installed it yet. But I dunno, Aaron Cakes car looks good without the wing. And the stock wing doesn't really offer any benefits other than looks.

clean car! I have checked it out on a couple of occasions when it was motorless in Shelbyville. Glad you got her back on the road.

Nice work there!

One thing I noticed. Your MAP sensor is mounted to the firewall with the nipple horizontal. If you read the directions that came with the sensor (not supplied by Haltech) you will see that it is to be mounted with the nipple facing down. This prevents condensation from fouling the sensor.

I really like the black wheels. I'm doing the same on my car...
