After a rebuild how do you get ALL of the oil in?
I see that by the FSM the total oil capacity is 5.8 liters.
Do you try and stuff all of in at once or say, enough like a regular change then top it up after the engine has been run?
And did I read on the forum that for a rebuilt engine:
15 minutes then change oil and filter
500 miles then change oil and filter
2000 miles the change oil and filter

Must be some info floating around on the oil getting into the oil cooler. I know that when I removed it a good amount leaked all over my coveralls!

this is what I do.
just put 5 or 5.5 qts in
turn over engine for a few secs to prime oil system, watch for pressure to build up on the guage. pull egi fuse or something so the engine doesnt fire
dont worry bout the cooler or any of that. oil doesnt even go trough it till its hot.
start the engine and let it fast idle for 30 mins. good time so set the timing and watch for leaks and stuff. then change oil/filter
then I do another oil/filter change at about 500 miles then again after another 1000.

Capacity is about 5 qts when you change the oil and filter, but that does not include the oil in the rotors and the oil cooler. When you rebuild the engine there isn't a drop of oil in the engine so you may have to add a little more. If you are wondering how much to add, add oil until it says full on the dipstick. Run the engine until it gets up to operating temprature. When it cools off and all the oil drains back to the pan, check the dipstick and add a little to get it back up to the full mark if required.

I lke to get the oil in by freezing it with my super telepathetic mind powers!
I've fit 6 in my car without a problem.
On a new engine it should take it easy since the oil cooler lines would be empty.
Just crank the engine a few times after you put it in so it runs through everything.

Haven't we ALL heard this
when the engine is dry and the cooler is dry you should just get the pan amount in.
When the engine is running below 140F oil temps all oil bypasses the cooler. You would not flow oil into it till it gets about 140F. Not sure if you can get that temp idling
