YOU ARE SCREWED !

I did this about a month ago. Hit the same spot you hit. Then suddenly I realized that "Hey, my e-brake is weird." And then after weeks went on I found that I started to leak break fluid. At first it wasn't that big of a deal. Now I am leaking almost 2 pints a day ! So I have to replace my drivers rear break caliper now. Not fun.

Also my break pedal goes straight to the floor now. Blah !

Maybe because you're leaking brake fluid...that'll cause the pressure to drop, making the pedal want to go to the floor without resistance...

Happened with my parents' car...didn't notice the problem though until I actually had to slow down and the pedal went all the way to the floor. Kinda scary for a second, lol

^ In reference to brake pedal, not the E-brake

Your Ebrake is on your rear tires... so I can see no reason why hitting a curb with your front tires would change it at all.

Ah I didn't see where he specified the fact that he hit it on the front tires...interesting...

it seems as if my ebrake is being pulled 2 clicks when its disengaged. it feels pretty tight to pull up. but the effectiveness is still the same. steering in car is fine.

thanks for the help so far keep it comin

The E-brake is actually just a line that connects to the rear calipers which has a spring that clamps them tight. Try adjusting the line that connects to the ebrake handle or inspecting the rear calipers.
