I was just checking Taka Kaira today and saying the EXACT same thing. How much is the shipping? There was some brand of rims that were like $280 a peice for 17x10 that I REALLY wanted...

1) Send ARD T2 a PM - he has some special deal on Advan rims for RX-7 Forum members.
2) Get in contact with Joji @ Wheelchoice - http://www.wheelchoice.com/
The Model 5's are a recent model, so expect to pay premium prices (min $2,000) for them.  No, they are not Konig/Ace/Panther/Tenzo crap.

To all you owners who want the real deal, keep checking out Wheelchoice.  The bring in good used rims for a fair price; yes, you can go cheaper, but Joji is a good guy.  If you're lucky, that dream set of rims might just be yours.  Keep in mind that the bolt pattern and offset does not fit a lot of the more popular Japanese cars.  The sizes and offsets that fit the FC does not fit FD, JZA80, JZA70, MA70, SW20, S13 (wrong bolt pattern), Honda Civics/CRXs(wrong bolt pattern), AE86 (wrong bolt pattern).  About the only competition for these rims are later S14 owners who run the 5-lug bolt patterns - the S13 runs similar sizes and offsets, but bolt pattern is off; if the rims come with a universal 5 or 4 pattern, then you might compete with them.  Every once in a while a set of rims comes through Wheelchoice (I try to check at least once a week) that fits the FC rather nicely - a friend of mine just picked up a set of 3-piece rims (Zaubers) for $599 off of eBay; 17"x8" front, 17"x9" rear in FC offset.  This is a steal for 3-piece rims.
Sorry to sound like an ad for Wheelchoice; I'm not connected with them in any way - just a satisfied customer from a prior purchase (RS8's for my AE86 boyeee!).
