I was just checking Taka Kaira today and saying the EXACT same thing. How much is the shipping? There was some brand of rims that were like $280 a peice for 17x10 that I REALLY wanted...

1) Send ARD T2 a PM - he has some special deal on Advan rims for RX-7 Forum members.
2) Get in contact with Joji @ Wheelchoice - http://www.wheelchoice.com/

The Model 5's are a recent model, so expect to pay premium prices (min $2,000) for them.&nbsp No, they are not Konig/Ace/Panther/Tenzo crap.

I hear you on that one... I would like a set of VS-5s, but all the companies I've found in the US want $1000+ a wheel... too much.

To all you owners who want the real deal, keep checking out Wheelchoice.&nbsp The bring in good used rims for a fair price; yes, you can go cheaper, but Joji is a good guy.&nbsp If you're lucky, that dream set of rims might just be yours.&nbsp Keep in mind that the bolt pattern and offset does not fit a lot of the more popular Japanese cars.&nbsp The sizes and offsets that fit the FC does not fit FD, JZA80, JZA70, MA70, SW20, S13 (wrong bolt pattern), Honda Civics/CRXs(wrong bolt pattern), AE86 (wrong bolt pattern).&nbsp About the only competition for these rims are later S14 owners who run the 5-lug bolt patterns - the S13 runs similar sizes and offsets, but bolt pattern is off; if the rims come with a universal 5 or 4 pattern, then you might compete with them.&nbsp Every once in a while a set of rims comes through Wheelchoice (I try to check at least once a week) that fits the FC rather nicely - a friend of mine just picked up a set of 3-piece rims (Zaubers) for $599 off of eBay; 17"x8" front, 17"x9" rear in FC offset.&nbsp This is a steal for 3-piece rims.

Sorry to sound like an ad for Wheelchoice; I'm not connected with them in any way - just a satisfied customer from a prior purchase (RS8's for my AE86 boyeee!).

I was in Cork Sport 2 weeks ago and they had a set of 17.8.5 RG Advan wheels on display. The guy there said they sold for about $400 each. Man those things are light.
