Advance Turbo NA questions
Got a couple of questions for the Turbo NA gurus.
1)Are you guys running the stock NA compression or running lowered compression? I was thinking of lowering the compression with extra washers on the sparkplugs?
2)You guys know where the undertray is? Would putting an intercooler where the undertray is be a good idea?
Thanks.

All of them that I know run stock na compression, I don't think adding washers to sparkplugs is a good idea.
An intercooler where the undertray will probably work if you scoop it properly, but it could get damaged by road crap.

The compression idea was from Mazdaspeed7. He mentioned before that by removing the crush washer on the sparkplug, compression can be increased. Thus, by adding washers, I thought compression can be decreased.
Question 3
There is the VDI control on the S5 intake manifold, when applying boost to the NA engine, will it still benefit from the VDI effect or is that just another restriction to the system?
So the IC in the undertray location is a bad idea eh? What about removing the stock foglights and putting an IC there so that the air entering from the foglight location can feed the IC. I want to go for the sleeper look and not have the IC show.
Thanks
