adjusting tps

okay guys, i have discovered thanks to many of you here that the surging idle is due the the tps needing to be adjusted. my next question is how do i go about doing that. please keep in mind that i am completely new to this and am not yet familiar with all the abbreviations. what tools do i need? also if anyone has pics to post with their answers that would really help quite a bit. a little info on what is happening, after the temp is up to normal is when the surging starts. thanks in advance

First, the idle air bleed may just be set too high, or you could have an intake system air leak.
After the initial 17 second warm up, when the TPS says the throttle is at idle & the revs go >1500 you will get a fuel cut.
The zoom zoom cycle will be 1-3 per second.

If the up/down rev cycle 2 or more seconds, then you have a different problem.
The bypass air control (BAC) is the main idle speed control after you're warmed up.
It's a duty (pulsating) solenoid that bleeds air with varying loads to keep from stalling.
Old corroded connections or deposits inside it can cause poor idle speed control.
