adjusting shocks
Alrite,
For those of you who have agx shocks front and rear, a strut tower, and sway bars, what setting would you MOST reccommend. I have mine on 2-F and 5-R, and im still getting a lot of understeer on tight corners, and start skidding earlier than i should be on longer faster turns.
Im not looking to replace my tires right now, so dont give me the 'get better tires' lecture
thanks,
Jeff

chances are if you are getting understeer you are just entering too fast. you need to slow down and learn to "drive" correctly
but to get rid of understeer stiffen up the rear / soften the front.

i dont know how my alignment is 'now' becuase i got one about a year ago (sept) but that was before i beefed up the suspension, so dropping the car probably messed with the alignment.
I have AGXs and Eibach Prokit springs.Fronts on 2, rears on 3. Stock swaybars, no tower bar.
Just got it aligned yesterday. Big difference, much easier to drive. My stock springs had sagged enough that I can't tell it has different springs. I learned the hard way not to replace just struts, using factory struts on my wifes old car, she bought it new, I could tell the ride wasn't the same as when new.
My car oversteers alittle with the use of the throttle, not as easily as my Opels or the Mustangs I had (70+73).
