adjusting my clutch.
Never thought that my clutch would have to be adjusted! Well about 2 mo ago i did the auto to 5-sp swap and i noticed the clutch on my hyundai excel was about 3 times stiffer than the one on my 7.Just to clear things up i rebuilt my slave and master cylinders, and have the stainless steel clutch line.at times the clutch would grip very nicely and scratch second, and then just as quickly as that it would slip very bad sometimes to the point of no excelleration! After awhile it was irretating me.and i noticed my shifter fork was somewhat loose, and wobbely. And at that time my clutch pedal was stuck to the floor!! Only after grabbing it with my hand and pumping it it would build pressure! So i had already bled the system once but i decided to do it again.Only this time i bled it alittle more.I also noticed that my shifter fork was not coming back to towards the engine all the way(like being engaged).I decided to do an experiment and looped a spring through the hole in the fork and looped the other end around the slave cylinder bleed off valve.Well it now is not slipping anymore?and it feels like it was normal pedal pressure! But i dont want it ***** rigged like this what can i do to elinimate this problem?
Also i could swear that the master and slave cylinders were priming themselves ya know?To pump correctly can anyone clear that up for me.
suggestions/comments please
thanks,
Dustin
