Adjusting Idle

Since the search keeps erroring out.....

How do I adjust my idle in the S4 I have?
The thing idles great at 950 ish with the cluth in, but can drop all the way to 400 with it in, out of gear.

that doesnt sound like an idle problem at all. so,in neutral with the clutch pushed in the idle drops to about 400? and when you let it out in neutral still it goes back to about 900? what does it do when the car is in gear with the clutch pushed down? it sounds like something else is manipulating the idle

If the car is in gear, with the clutch pushed down, its fine.
Whenever the clutch is pushed down, it idles fine.
Also it does this randomly. Like sometimes I can put it in neutral and release the clutch and its fine at 900 ish.

Most the time when its released, it dropes way down. (not in gear)
Clear?
