Adjusted the tps now i have a new problem.

Well when i adjusted the tps i had to turn the screw clockwise until i couldnt turn it any more and finally the jumping idle when away. Now the rpms arent jumpy when holding the throttle too but when i hold the throttle to a certain rpm my exhaust is making min backfire noises, like the ones u hear at idle when u r warming up your car.

would this be the fuel filter maybe/? or still the tps.

Also my new clutch is broke in finally and i have newish tires and i can chirp the tires going into 2nd and 3rd gear yay.

Don't you use the BAC to adjust your idle?

The problem was that i had a jumpy idle. I hold the gas at 1500 rpms and the rpms jumped up and down by 200 and it did the same threw allthe rpm ranges on the primary injectors.

The bac vavle didnt change the way my idle was behaving. I also tried the multimeter test the day before and i set it so it read 1kohm at idle etc.. but that didnt help it. Then some guy on the forum said u adjust your tps with the car running until the idle is good. SO i tried that and now my idle etc.. is good.

Ahh...I thought you were just trying to adjust the idle speed.

When I was adjustin' on that screw I opened the butterflies to much and that caused it to back fire a lot and when reving it up it would kind of hold the RPM's for a second then backfire then start to fall back to idle that's when I went back and did it according to the shop manual (first setting the butterflies all the way closed) now it does't do it anymore but still doesn't wan to idle right. Think I will take it down to the guy that works close to Gettysburg and have him mess with it. All he works on is RX-7.
