Adjust TPS from ECU

I can't get good TPS adjustment from lights or resistance, so I'm going to do it by voltage from the ECU. I know the car needs to be fully warm and the fast idle cam linkage should be removed. Please allow me to show my ignorance...again. Where on the TB is the fast idle cam linkage, and how do you remove it for this test? A pic would be most helpful. Series 5, N/A

No linkages need to be removed from anywhere. Simply measure the voltage across the signal and ground wires at the TPS.

You don't need to remove the fast idle cam & stuff per se, you just need to make sure it's not part of the equation, by allowing the car to warm up fully to a 750 or so idle. At that point, the fast idle cam should be away from the linkage, so to speak...
