Adding a/c to non a/c car
As title says, summer is coming up and i dont have a/c, and am debating attempting to swap in a system
and was wondering if its all plug and play (aside from charging and leak testing etc), or will i need to do any sort of wiring.
If i remember right ill need hard lines, condenser, evaporator, compressor and other various lines, is this correct?

Yes everything should swap over, not sure on the wiring. The harness running through the engine should have the clip that go the the a/c compressor. Everything mechanical wise will fit. If you are planning on doing something like this, look over the FSM or make sure you have a copy.
I do have the A/C P/S bracket that you would need. PM me if you are interested...

You have to swap out your PS bracket for the one that mounts both the AC and the PS pumps... wiring should be there, but its not that complicated if it is not... the evaporator assy goes between the blower housing and the heater box... be careful which year car you get the parts from; the 89-91 system is different from the 86-88. Some of the 86-88s are factory air, and some were dealer installed. The hallmark of the dealer installed system is the receiver dryer has its mounting bracket welded on, where as the factory air system, the bracket was mounted to the car.
