add coolant light/buzzer

For the last few days my add coolant light/buzzer have been going off. I check the level and its fine but it does look kinda brown. (I did a flush about 4 months ago) Is the sensor malfunctioning, or is it programmed to tell you when the coolant needs changeiing. Also temp is normal and shouldn't the coolant last more than a few months.

The sensor detects if there is coolant going to the radiator. Either you have a leak or a malfuctioning sensor, I doubt the latter.

I had to replace mine, now it works just fine. But you still might have air in there.

that damn light in my car with bad water seals is almost always on. I flushed the radiator, got a new sensor, and got all the air out, and it still is on.

Sometimes it goes of for a minute or two, but most of the time its on. It doesn't seem like bad water seals would trigger the switch if the coolant level is up enough though. I'm confused???????

I just drive my other rx7(untill I do my rebuild )

I would bet that your engine is shot. My old 91 na had that same problem. It was the coolant jacket in the rotor housing. the engine needs a rebuild
