Adapting a Subaru lip to an FC....

The width for the Subaru Legacy GT Limited is 67.5 The FC is 66.5 I think. Here is what I am thinking of trying...

What do you guys think of it? I think it reminds me of the Fujita lip and I think it would accent the FC nicely.

I am going to photoshop it in a second when I get a chance.

It's 11am here and I just woke up I am not assuming this is the brightest idea, just something I was toying around with.

PS. At least I am not trying to make a hybrid FC/Impreza bumper like some others tried in the past.

I think you guys are getting carried away here - he's not putting a Subaru front end on an FC!

What he's talking about is taking the little 2" high lip off the bottom of the bumper and mounting it to the bottom of the FC bumper! You know, to replace the black rubber (S4) piece of crap that gets mangled.

Hey, if it fits and looks good - I don't care what car it came off. I say give it a whirl.

EDIT: Was I wrong Fritz - did you want the entire bumper on it?

I think it'd look pretty good w/ the lip, just make sure it matches the car, i hate unmatching body panels...its like he forgot to factor in the cost of the paint before he bought the damn body kit.

It won't work well...the legacy lip is curved while the S4 FC front end is flat.

Well, yeah - the Feed lip.

Unless I'm mistaken here - the point of this exercise is to find an inexpensive alternative for an FC lip. Basically, what cars have lips that can be adapted to the FC - that way we can go to a scrap yard and pick one up for $25 rather than shelling out $300 for an aftermarket one.

should not take that much time to remove it from that subaru and try it out on FC (much more valuable than photoshop job imho )
