ACV Sensors

I was wondering what the sensors on the AVC do and how I can check to see if they are working or not. Also is there any symptoms to having bad sensors on the AVC.

they are not sensors, they are solenoids. they give finer control of where the air pump air goes, they play a very minor role, but i believe it lets them send more of the air to port air, and a teeny little bit to split air.

the solenoids do have codes associated with them.

all the info you need is here Foxed.ca - Mazda RX-7 Manuals
