ACV removal pros and cons

i got my old engine out on my 10AE today and i have my new engine ready to go back in. i'm not going to be running any cat or air pump, so i'm going to elimiinate the acv. i have the block off plate from mazdatrix and i'm going to use that on the new engine. other than just less crap on the engine, what are the pros of removing it? are there any cons that i need to look out for? i searched but not a whole lot of what i found pertained to this specific question.

I have the ACV, pump, and split air pipe removed from my T2 and I haven't noticed any difference in performance or economy.

thats a good thing. i wasn't hoping for any performance gain, i'm just hoping to eliminate some of the emissions crap i dont need without affecting driveability.

The secondary air injection system (air pump and AVC) treats the exhaust gases after they've left the engine. It has no effect on how the engine runs, so removing it will have no effect on performance or economy, only the cleanliness of your exhaust.
