ACV removal on 89 N/A?

If I plug the vacume lines and and use a block off plate can I just remove the ACV and Air pump?

Everything else is stock.

If you are running no cats, and have some other way of opening your auxillary ports, then yes. The airpump and ACV are needed for the cat to work properly, without them it will burn up. Also, on S5 N/As, the airpump is used to open your auxillary ports, so you will need an alternate way to operae them.
