ACV question

This Air Control Valve is off a 89 N/A.
I know that the white coupler is the Split Air Control Solenoid.

What is the black coupler for and what does it do?

Port Air solenoid. Used only the first twenty thousand miles. Puts extra airpump air to.....the exaust ports. Where most of the airpump air goes via the checkvalve.
