ACT clutch...which one?

Im gonna go with the ACT clutch, now which one should I get? Its for an 88 T2 with a good amount of mods runnin 11-12 lbs. of boost. Its not a daily driver but I still wanna be able to drive it all weekend without a major hassle and want it to grab HARD when I feel the need. Also where can I get the best deal on this clutch? Thanx alot in advance, I dont really know what go with.

Hey Matt....

Im running pretty much the same thing 88 T2 that is....Since RX-7s have been known to go through a fair amount of clutches in its time....(or it could just be me)....anyhowz....u want to go with the extreme pressure plate and probably a six puck ceramic disc....it'll be a little grabby for everyday use but it will handle the power and torque of what u got.....as far as cost check the ACT website then go to their links section or wherever they show the list of dealers there is one in miami that has fair prices if i remember correctly the setup i just mentioned is about $430-450....but check the site to make sure....

Who makes those clutches from BNR?

As for ACT you don't need to go all out with a 6 puck and all that jazz. The street strip has a heavy duty pressure plate and an upgraded disc and has a torque capacity of 330 and is only $330 if I remember correctly. You can also get an extreme pressure plate with the upgraded disc and it gives you 400+ torque capacity. The 330 is more than your car will put out so I would just go with that one, I will be doing it with a hybrid TO4b this summer. The regular style street disc is much more streetable than the pucked models.
