Acid Bath??

I would like to ask same question asked in the West Forum...
I need to know if anyone in the Orange County, California Area knows of a place to give my car frame an acid bath???
I have a full restoration project underway...

Any and all advice would be helpful...

I heard someone metion a junk yard in Long Beach but I need a name...

Beware: I did a cuastic soda strip on a 914-6 in 1992. The car is still sitting on a rotissaire in my friends shop with crap STILL oozing from the UNIBODY seams. This is after countless rinses with laquer thinner. MEK, acetone to get it out. You will have problems with the paint lifting at the seams sometime in the future.

A better solution would be to have the car PASTIC MEDIA blasted to remove all the paint and undercoating. There is also High Pressure Bakind Soda Stripping. BOTH are EXCELLANT process's.

Find a local sand blasting shop and ask if they use other media or know somewhere else to ask.
