So its a new battery and it still wont start? Are your plugs and wires hooked up/installed right? Did you try starting after installing the battery, but before installing plugs/wires? Good luck!

True, but do u think the starting issues have anything to do with it? Do other things like radio and lights etc work? Can you roll-start it (assuming its a 5-speed)?

My guesses.......
One of two possibilities:
1. (most likely) the starter gear is engaged in the flywheel
2. The engine combustion chambers are full of gas from the fuel pump running all night.

need more info, do you stop it or doees it stop automatically, and if so how long does it usually take to stop?
first things first check and see if your getting fuel and spark. you can check for fuel by pullin out oone of the spark plugs, it its covered with gas your 1. getting fuel, and 2. your engine is flooded

if it stop on its own put your battery on a charger..
If you stop.. then its probably just flooded..
take out the plugs and let it sit for a night in a warm garage if you can..
