accerleration problem!!

accerleration problem!!

my cats are gutted. if they have holes in them will the car lose acceleration or speed because of them. do rx-7's have alot of acceleration problems whenever theirs holes in the cats or pipes?

What 2nd gen do you have? '86-88 NA may lose power from exhaust leaks since aux 6 port intakes open w/ exhaust backpressure from the cat. Turbo may gain power as there is less exhaust backpressure w/ leaks.
