Acceleration problems
I have an '88 TII with the following mods:
HKS intake
HKS F-Con
2.5 in. exhaust
Have bigger injectors on the secondaries but dont know what cc rating they have.
My problem is the car runs. Its really bad on idle. It sounds and runs like an eight cylinder in idle. When you accelerate in hesitates badly and the turbo becomes intermittent during this time. and it wont reach its peak. I mean its like it isnt using the turbo and its trying to muttle through. I know it isnt detonation because I compression tested the enginge and its good. The fuel pump is working properly, and the computer is hooked up right. Injectors are clean, And I just installed a new alternator. I would like to know what I should get for it. I was thinking of getting a Jacobs ignition pack, and going to an Apexi S-AFC and smaller secondaries than what I got. This just popped up recently and the car is fouling spark plugs like mad. I have replaced plugs three times in the past six months. Help would be appreciated if you guys have any thoughts. I need to get my baby back
